Flamstead End Golf Society  is made up of various levels of golfers who meet up a couple of times a year for golf which is normally followed by a quick drink. Due to work commitments events currently take place of a saturday which limits us to only so many courses. We choose golf courses around Hertfordshire and Essex but may branch out in the future looking for new venues. Our first meeting was at Great Hadham Golf course in October 2006, we attempt to play 3 to 4 times a year. 

The event consists of 18 holes stapleford competition for the JP Classic cup, there are also Cash prizes for Nearest the pin/longest drive and a potential Hole-in-One prize which builds up over time. Depending on expense breakfast and a light lunch after is included plus we also try to donate some money at each meeting to Macmillian Hospice 

Our latest event (23rd Feb 2008) was at Whitehills in Dane End where 17 players competed, we will also to look to hold two more golf days this year. Potentially May/June and one being in Sept/Oct.
